. Cheryl and I had a great trek through South Florida and the Caribbean, visiting our people and going on the Blues Cruise. We had dinner our first real night there with Barry & Sue Matza and their son Jeremy in Boca Raton. Then we were... ![]() ...hosted to a game of golf by & with Gary Luckman at TPC Eagle Trace in Coral Springs. That night we had dinner with Ned & Patty Valois and Doug & Sue Gallagher at Two Chefs in Coral Gables. The next night was the Sonador/Karl Lawrence Wine & Cheese Reception at Doug & Sue's home. Seventy plus people were there. Here's a few pictures. ![]() Dinner & all at Orlando de Jesus's in San Francisco, Puerto Rico Front: Dave & Ginevera Jamieson, & Me Back: Cheryl, Christina Alamo, Belinda & Orlando, Grechen & Marcos. Fili Perez took the picture. We finished up with a Miami Wine & Food Festival charity auction lot dinner at Mike & Nelly Farra's in Coral Gables. Happy New Years from Napa Valley where two weeks ago we were in the middle of a drought and operating under restricted water usage. Now we've gone thru the storm of the century and have passed our yearly average in rainfall. I drove up to Tahoe during this storm and snow boarded the next day with my family as it continued to dump another five feet of snow to the five feet from the previous day. What we've done during the rain is to add the people from last year's wait list to our active list. These people will shortly receive a short letter confirming this. There's no need to reply unless your contact information has changed. These people and all our other people will receive an Offering Letter for the 2005 release in February (warmer states) and March (cooler states). Just so you all know, a while back my cell phone fell out of my vest pocket and into the toilet. I retrieved it quickly, turned it off, and placed it in front of the fire for a few weeks. It now works fairly decently. I'll be off for a few weeks visiting quite a number of our people in the SoFL area. I'll also be co-hosting a wine and cheese reception with Doug & Sue Gallagher of Sonador Cellars. So that should be fun. Then Cheryl and I are off to the Blues Cruise. Upon our return, we will be the honored guest of Mike Farras and Ariel Solorzano at a dinner auctioned to raise donations for charity. So all should be good and I'll report on the festivities upon my return. Until then, I leave you with this great shot of Aris Francisco's youngest: |
