Winter's finally arrived here in Napa Valley. It snowed the kind of snow that makes for great snow balls up in the higher elevations. We're having record lows as it was 28 degree yesterday as we tried to play tennis on frozen clay.

Aris sent in this picture for his holiday greetings to us. I told him that I didn't know he was a triplet. He asked, "What are you talking about?" So I thought I should leave it at that. It reminds me of the refrain that Johnny Nitro, of the Johnny Nitro Blues Band, says every night in one of the blues bars in the city: "Drink triple till you're seeing double and feeling single." Aris has been with us since the mid 90s. He's always amusing.
